A breast cancer diagnosis can change nearly every aspect of life, including your mental and emotional well-being. Feelings of fear, uncertainty, grief, and overwhelm are common for patients and survivors, yet mental health is often one of the most overlooked parts of the cancer experience.

At NBCF, we believe that no one should have to face difficult experiences alone, and support can make a meaningful difference at every stage of the journey. Whether you’re facing a breast cancer diagnosis, living in survivorship, or simply looking for tools to support your mental health, these resources are here for you.

Resources for Breast Cancer Patients & Survivors

Support & Community

Breast cancer support group

NBCF hosts a monthly support group where our support group facilitator works with cancer survivors during “caring and sharing” time to encourage healthy dialogue and education for everyone involved. Research shows that taking part in support groups, where you both give and receive help, is an effective way to reduce the stress and anxiety that can come with a breast cancer diagnosis.

Other support groups that focus on certain life stages or experiences can be found here.

Wall of Support

With nearly 2,000 entries, the Wall of Support is filled with hope-filled messages to survivors.
